Membership info

Who can become a member?

Anybody who lives close enough to the pool to make good use of it as well as contribute to the running of the club by helping as a safety officer or an administrator during the opening hours..

Membership types & fees

We offer 2 types of membership:

Single Adult Membership

Single Adult membership costs £40 for new members and those who renew by noon 26th March 2018. The renewal fee for Single Adult membership after that date is £50.

Family Membership

Family membership is available for families living at the same address and costs £50 for new members and those who renew by noon 26th April 2018. The renewal fee for family membership after that date is £60.

Member duties

Members are expected to 'do their bit' to keep the club running for everyone. There are 2 types of duties that members can choose to take on.

Safety Officer

To safely run the pool we need 2 safety officers on the pool side. Members who choose to contribute as a safety officer will receive the appropriate training to act as a first or second safety officer. First safety officers will also receive RLSS life support training and will need to successfully complete an exam every 2 years.

If you are a competent swimmer then please consider volunteering as a safety officer.

Administrators

Administrators help with the running of the club by manning our admin hut to administer pool entrants and general support tasks during opening hours. No formal training is needed but you will require up-to-date knowledge of the club rules (which will be provided).

Location

The pool is located on the site of Comberton Village College a bit further back from the Squash club.

  • The Big Clean Spring

    28 April 2018

Please help clean up the pool and get it ready for our 2018 season. Many hands make light work so please come over to help even if you can spare just one hour!

  • Pool Open

    12 May 2018

We've ordered nice weather for our first day of the 2018 season. Our supplier may not deliver the goods (they have been terribly unreliable at times) but the water will be warm. In any case, who cares about rain if you are going to get wet anyway?

  • Opening Times Change

    6 Aug 2018

From today all evening session will run from 6pm-7:30pm

  • Pool closed

    9 Sep 2018

This is the official date for pool closure but if the weather is still nice and we can find volunteers to do extra duties then we might run a few more sessions. Keep checking you inbox and please consider volunteering when asked.

  • See you in 2019
